About Asians Rising Georgia Alliance

Asian Americans are one of the fastest-growing populations in Georgia and the United States, yet our communities continue to face barriers to civic participation, representation, language access, economic opportunity, and meaningful influence in the decisions that shape our lives. As our communities grow, so does the need for spaces that help people build relationships, develop leadership, tell their stories, advocate for change, and work together to create more equitable and inclusive communities.

Asians Rising Georgia Alliance was created to build lasting civic and community power through leadership development, community organizing, civic engagement, policy advocacy, artivism, and storytelling. We bring together youth, families, immigrants, refugees, and multigenerational communities to strengthen civic participation, advance community-driven solutions, and create pathways for people to shape the future of their neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, and state.

Through organizing, advocacy, cultural programming, leadership training, research, and community education, we help Asian American communities move from being unheard to being influential voices in Georgia's civic life. Together, we are building a future where Asian Americans across Georgia are connected, empowered, and equipped to lead.

Our Mission

To build and sustain long-term civic and community power by cultivating youth and multigenerational leadership, investing in artivism and cultural expression, and advancing community-rooted storytelling that inspires action and strengthens democratic participation.

Our Vision

A Georgia where Asian Americans, immigrants, refugees, youth, and multiracial communities are connected, represented, and empowered to shape the decisions that affect their lives. We envision a future where our stories are visible, our cultures are celebrated, our voices influence policy, and our collective leadership creates a more just, inclusive, and participatory democracy for generations to come.
